Breaking News: W Series Enters Administration Due to Financial Hardships After Three Seasons

W Series was a free-to-enter all-women racing series, first launched in 2018 to provide equal opportunity in motorsport for women, by removing the financial barriers holding back drivers from progressing up the ladder.

As part of the DTM support bill, the all-female championship held its maiden season in 2019. The COVID pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 season, however, the series was revived in 2021, under Formula 1's support budget.
